I have had just been experiancing my first trip to France
and it has been a wonderfull one everything from the service
untill the cathes are fantastic we had the chalet for
a week and in a weeks time I had 14 fish+2 lost with as
highlights a 18kg carp, 2 19kg carps and last but not
least a 20kg carp we will be back but not next year hopefully
the year after so that we can experiance this beautyfull
lake and enviroment and of course your exellent service
again. Untill next time freindly greeting from the dutch
speaking Belgians.

and Dan,
Hope you're all keeping well.Thanks for a brilliant week
(June 11th 2009) at a wonderful lake and setting.We really
felt at home thanks to your hospitality and kindness.Barbeque
was great Andy but not quite up there with Tracey's cooking
which was fab,keep up the classes Andy.Brilliant fishing,cracking
fish by far the biggest and most beautiful we've caught,topped
off with Shane catching Parrot,he was thrilled.Big thanks
Dan for all your help and advice,we'd have been lost being
novices to carp fishing,and you put us on the swim of
the week,cheers.Hope the lake goes from strength to strength,it
deserves to,fab people and place.Hope to see you all again.

Hi
Andy, Tracy and Dan,
Just
thought that I would thank you for what was a truly excellent
week.
The
food was great, the social was even better and the Dan
the Bailiff was superb and made sure that we were all
on the spots.
I
managed to catch PARROT at 41lb 6oz and a few commons
at mid doubles.
Jason
has just about survived the life threatening trauma of
hook in finger syndrome and Stuart hasn’t stopped
talking about his stay.
We
will be making the journey past 400 other carp lakes to
fish your venue again by the end of the year and will
probably make it our yearly challenge moving forward.
If
you post this on your web site I would like to tell anyone
that is thinking of fishing your lake as a first timer
or seasoned French carper that they will not be disappointed………………..
In fact they will be thrilled! The condition of the carp
is excellent and the fact that there is no need to pile
loads of particle in is a bonus.
Once
again a massive thank you from all of us.

Thank
you for an experience that surpassed all of my expectations.
Your hospitality knows no bounds and as for the fishing
"WOW" 46 runs, 35 on the bank. The biggest being
35lb 4oz
and i don't care what anybody says,i know i lost a 40+ on
my last evening.All the more reason to come back, land that
one
and go on to land a 50 pounder.
Dan you're the man. Thank you for passing some of your eminence
knowledge onto me, it obviously worked, plus for always
being on hand
to help.
Tracey and Andy thank you for making me feel at home 24
hours a day. I wish you guys all the success you so deserve.

Tracey & Andy
I just wonted to email you to say a BIG thank you to you
both for making mine and my 8 mates stay one to remember,
We had excellent weather nearly 100 degrees everyday, fantastic
food bought to our swims,how about that for service!! The
bailiff was excellent always there to help out, I beat my
personal best on a Grass carp of 31 pound 10 also my mate
had another Grass carp out the same time 28 pound hows that
for luck, This was our third time back to the lake and we
will be coming again next year with a van full of fisherman.
A wonderful lake Tracy & Andy you must be very proud.
All you keen fisherman this is a lake you must fish. The
best lake in France. |

have just had another week at the chalet there was three
of us fishing i managed to break my personal best with a
43lb mirror all the others broke theirs as well with a catfish
of 46lb and a lovely grass carp of 37lb we had a total of
500lb of fish a fantastic week and we have re booked for
october |

What
a week!!
I have just had the best weeks fishing ever here,me and
6 mates from Ringwood tackle had a fantastic week.In total
I had 373IB of fish in one week. I also beat my personal
best 3 times with a 35.2 mirror then a 40.4 mirror then
on day 5 a 46.3 mirror. We all had a amazing time. The food
was fantastic and the fish were in excellent condition and
the owners were the best. Just wonted to say a big thank
you to Tracey and Andy for making our fishing holiday one
to remember. Well done for making it a fantastic lake to
fish. See you again very very soon we are already looking
to book a group of 10 with you.

Had
my first time in France and it was a good start to my French
fishing experience. Most mornings the breakfast was on time
(lol) but it was worth the wait. My weeks fishing is gonna
be hard to beat and I will not forget it for a long time.

i spent a week
at the chalet and what a week i broke my personal best with
a 36lb mirror and despite the weather for february it rained
all week it didnt stop the fish biting and managed to catch
carp day and night the most ive ever caught and despite
living in france and have the pick of all the lakes in the
limousin will be returning in may for another week andy
and tracy being the perfect hosts |

What
can I say. I was on the lake June 2006 with a few friends
who stayed in the Chalet, we had a fantastic time loads
of fish, fantastic food, I am going back at the end of April
for a week with 7 friends and we just cant wait. Best lake
in France, lovely food, lovely owners and gorgeous fish
what more can a fisherman wont!!

I have seen all the
TV programs with all the rods screaming of at once and
never dreamed it would happen to me. We spent a week in
the chalet at the end of February and first night I beat
my PB with a 31lb mirror then the same night Chris beat
his and mine with a 36lb mirror. We caught every day and
ended up with 697lbs of fish, 36 in total, average weight
19lb, and 14 between 20 and 30lb. We are going back in
May for another week.

have had a perfect week last year by a beautiful lake
with very fine people (andy and tracey) who runs the lake.

In august
2006 we rented the house for two weeks. We had a great
time, caught a few nice carp. You have to try the "room
service" by Andy and Tracey, the food is excellent!
Unfortunately we can't make it this year, but we hope
to be back in 2008!
