The procedure for making a reservation is simply to complete the booking form and return it with a deposit of 50% of the total rental. On receipt of the booking form you will be sent confirmation. The balance of the rental price is payable NO LATER than 8 weeks before your arrival date. If this is not received by this time, your reservation will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit, unless prior arrangements have been made with the management and agreed in writing. If the booking is made within one month of the arrival date, the whole sum is payable at the time of booking.
A refundable deposit of 150 euro will be required on arrival and held, 100 euro against any damages and 50 euro to cover cleaning on your departure if no effort is made to leave the premises in the same condition as it was found.
Dogs are permitted by prior arrangement but will remain the responsibility of the owners who must ensure that the dog is kept under control throughout the stay and any damage to property must be paid for
All rules must be adhered to at all times to avoid the risk of being removed from the property with the loss of all monies paid.
If, for reasons beyond the control of the management, the lake becomes unavailable for the period you have reserved and secured with a deposit, the management will make every effort to offer an alternative or return the deposit in full. If this occurs as the result of an Act Of God, war, severe adverse weather conditions, strikes or floods, government ruling, pandemics, the management cannot accept liability.
Cancellation by the hirer will incur penalties on the following basis:
- 9+ weeks before arrival date 50% of the total
- 8 weeks before arrival date 100% of the total
For bookings, we ask for 50% deposit on the fishing amount (320€) (+ cabin on peg 11) but not for food, that's payable on site in full.
Written notice must be sent via registered post and the reservation will not be effectively cancelled until receipt of this by the management. Confirmation will be sent to you detailing penalties incurred.
Every effort will be made to ensure that the information supplied to you is accurate. The management accept no responsibility for events outside our reasonable control e.g. domestic appliances breaking down, burst pipes. Neither will they be liable for loss, personal injury or accident however caused, whilst at the property. Hirers and their parties stay entirely at their own risk.
It is strongly recommended that you protect yourself and your belongings from theft or damage with a good insurance policy to prevent your holiday being ruined in the unfortunate circumstances which can sometimes arise whilst travelling. This, however, is not included in the price of your holiday and remains your responsibility. You are therefore advised to seek further advice from the travel company arranging your passage to France.
